Principle #1: God's Eternal Covenant requires that all nations respect the image of God implanted in all humans.

Second Division: Amos proclaims God's Judgment on Judah for violating the Old Covenant. Amos 2:4&5
Principle #2: God holds those who have access to His Word to a much higher standard than those who do not.

Third Division: Amos proclaims God's Judgment on Israel for violating the Old Covenant. Amos 2:6-16
Principle #3: God holds those who have experienced God's greatest blessings to God's highest standards.
