Isaiah 2:1-4:6

DIVISIONS AND PRINCIPLES

First Division: Isaiah foretells of a time when Judah will honor God and walk with God. Isaiah 2:1-5 and Isaiah 4:2-6 (Revelation 20) 

Principle #1: When we walk with God, our pride is in his provisions for us and we seek to learn and obey His Word.

Second Division: Isaiah warns Judah of consequences of walking with man instead of God. Isaiah 2:6-2:21 (Exodus 20:3-6, Deut. 8:17, 2 Cor. 6:14, Philippians 4:6) 

Principle #2: God will bring us down when we forget He is our source of supply and we exalt ourselves.

Third Division: Isaiah describes conduct which reveals who we are walking with and God's response. Isaiah 2:22-4:1 

Principle #3: God uses punishment that is uniquely appropriate to teach us we are dependent on His presence and provision.
