First Division: God’s sovereign plan for Assyria.
(Isaiah 14:24-27)

Principle #1: Believers must trust that our omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent God is in control of the nations and uses them to accomplish His purposes.

Second Division: God’s sovereign plan for Philistia and Moab.
(Isaiah 14:28-32; Isaiah 15 & 16)

Principle #2:The Lord is compassionate and weeps over the oppression of his afflicted people.

Third Division: God’s sovereign plan for Damascus and Ephraim.
(Isaiah 17:1-14)

Principle #3: "Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord, is the Rock eternal." (Isaiah 26:4)
