First Division: Isaiah describes the elements of Israel's rebellion and its effect. 
(Isaiah 30:1-14)

Principle 1: Spiritual rebels refuse to seek guidance from God, inhibit the spread of God's Word, and fail to fulfill their purpose.

Second Division: Isaiah reveals the elements of repentance and its effect. 
(Isaiah 30:15-17)

Principle 2: Spiritual repentance is the opposite of spiritual rebellion and it results in salvation.

Third Division: Isaiah reveals God's attitude toward mercy. 
(Isaiah 30:18-31:9)

Principle 3: The only thing between us and God's mercy is our unwillingness to repent.
