First Division: God foretells Israel’s future.
(Isaiah 44:1-23)

Principle 1: God foretells the future in His Word to help His people know He is God and to help us overcome fear.

Second Division: God foretells the identity of the Babylonian conqueror.
(Isaiah 44:24 - 45:25)

Principle 2: A second reason God foretells events in His Word is so Believers can use it to evangelize.

Third Division: God foretells the future of Babylon’s idols.  
(Isaiah 46:1 - 47:15)

Principle 3: God’s foretells the destruction of Babylon’s idols and the coming availability of His righteousness so people would believe and be saved.
