First Division: Paul explained how to have joy in humility.  (Philippians 2:1-4)

Principle #1: When we see ourselves for what we are, we will begin to count others more significant than ourselves.

Second Division:  Paul described Jesus’ self-humiliation.  (Philippians 2:5-8)

Principle #2: Jesus humbly showed everyone how to pour out their lives to serve others.

Third Division:  Paul described the result of Jesus’ humility.  (Philippians 2:9-11)

Principle #3: People can choose to recognize Jesus as Lord or be forced to acknowledge Him as Lord when He returns.
