First Division: Paul describes what work a child of God must do. Ch. 2:12-13

Principle #1: We manifest our salvation by giving in to the promptings of the Holy Spirit to take in and obey God’s Word.

Second Division:  Paul describes how a child of God must do His work. Ch 2:14-30

Principle #2: To be effectively used by God to save people, we must share God’s Word and live it without complaining.
