DIVISIONS AND PRINCIPLES

First Division: God calls Jeremiah to warn Judah of God’s coming discipline if it doesn’t repent.
Jeremiah 1:5; 1:7; 1 Corinthians 15:8; 1:21; Romans 10:9-10; Matthew 28:19-20; 2 Corinthians 4:13; Romans 12; Mark 10:29

Principle #1: God does not predestine us to believe but He predestines Believers to be disciplers and He foreknows who the Believers will be.

Second Division: Judah forces God to discipline it by refusing to repent.
Jeremiah 2:1-3; 2:5-12; 2:13; Isaiah 54:4; Matthew 13:11-15; 2 Chronicles 36:16

Principle #2: We need to be always responsive to what God is telling us or we will incur His discipline.

Third Division: God reveals His future plans to restore and bless Judah after it repents. 
Jeremiah 29:11; 29:13; James 4:4; 4:8; Proverbs 2:1-6; 2:9-16; 8:7; John 17:3

Principle #3: God uses discipline to get us to seek God with all our hearts so He can bless us.
