Isaiah 5:1-6:13

DIVISIONS AND PRINCIPLES

First Division: Isaiah uses a song to show Judah its lack of Justice and Righteousness. Isaiah 5:1-7 (Romans 3:20 & 3:22, I John 1:9, Luke 12:48, Romans 12:3, 1 Cor. 3, Matthew 21:43 & 25:30) 

Principle #1: When God provides or supplies something to us, He expects a return.

Second Division: Isaiah defines Justice and Righteousness with 6 woes.  Isaiah 5:8-30 

Principle #2: It is more unjust for us to reject the law of God and despise His Word than it was for Judah.

Third Division: Isaiah confessed his sin and received the ministry of convicting God's people of injustice and unrighteousness.  Isaiah 6:1-13 

Principle #3: We must use our free will to repent or we will lose the freedom to repent.
