1 THESSALONIANS 1:1 - 2:16  Week 14


Division I. Paul thanks God for the Thessalonians' salvation and imitation (Ch. 1:1-10)

1st Principle: All saved people imitate the Apostles' and Jesus' faith, love, and hope by living and spreading God's Word. 


Division II. Paul thanks God for the Thessalonians' reception of God's Word (Ch. 2:13-16) 

2nd Principle: Receiving the Bible as God's Word is how we develop faith, love, and hope and we prove it by imitation. 


Division III. Paul explains how the efforts of the missionaries helped to save the Thessalonians. (Ch. 2:1-12) 

3rd Principle: God relies on Believers who are willing to share both the Gospel and themselves to save people.
