Zechariah 4-6: “Supernatural Provision and Care”

DIVISIONS AND PRINCIPLES

First Division: Zechariah reveals a vision of a lamp stand with two olive trees. Zechariah 4:1-14

Principle 1: As we prove to be humble, contrite disciples of Jesus, He answers our prayers and empowers us to produce much fruit.

Second Division: Zechariah reveals a vision of a flying scroll. Zechariah 5:1-4

Principle 2: God's Spirit uses God's Word to convict people of sin and to judge sin.

Third Division: Zechariah reveals a vision of a woman in a basket. Zechariah 5:5-11

Principle 3: God's Spirit removes sin from God's people by convicting us of sin followed by our repentance.

Fourth Division: Zechariah reveals a vision of four horsemen. Zechariah 6:1-8

Principle 4: God's Spirit will not rest until God's Judgment is poured out on the unrepentant.

Fifth Division: Zechariah symbolically crowns Joshua. Zechariah 6:9-15

Principle 5: God revealed His plan that Christ, with the help of Gentiles, would build God's Spiritual temple, to prove His Word is true and He is Sovereign.
