Introduction
If you want to know more about the Bible, if you have tried to read the Bible and want to understand what you have read, this Study is for you. We welcome married or singles! The only prerequisite is that you want a deeper understanding of the Holy Word of God.
StudySheets (Questions)
We are developing StudySheets (questions) to enable personal study - as a way for you to stay in the Word. You may use these StudySheets to lead a small group Bible Study, whether the Study is at your church, or at work, or with neighbors. The StudySheets are free-of-charge. (Money should not be a barrier to studying the Word of God!)
The format is excellent for a small group in which each student answers questions independently and then meets (online or in-person) to discuss their answers. Frankly, even though I lead a small group, I learn so much from the other members.
The Holy Spirit, when asked through prayer, will guide the student into The Truth. The student's answers must be in harmony with other Scripture (Acts 17:11). The StudySheets prompt the student to begin the day's study with prayer.
Agenda
Opening prayer: asking Christ Jesus to lead the discussion, to write His truth upon our hearts, and to protect the discussion from wrong teachings.
Discussion: discuss the results of our past week's independent study. (We receive questions to guide us in our study of God's Holy Word; we read the week's passages and attempt to answer thought-provoking questions.)
Closing prayer: Our Discussion Facilitator for the week will close the study with prayer as we give our praise to God for granting us insight into His holy Truth ! ! !
